First Cold

Stella had her first cold last week and is still getting over it. This picture was last week. She was so worn out that she passed out in her high chair! She is still coughing and congested, but happy! Her first day at the babysitter's was today and she had a great time with Mrs. Anita and Carter(her 2 year old buddy). I had a rough day away from her but she welcomed me with open arms and doesn't seem scarred by my leaving her. I guess we will survive this year....

New tricks-waving, clapping when she is excited about something, shrieking to get your attention, laughing when you make a funny face, and belly laughing when she puts something in your mouth and you bite it. This can be funny for us as well, depending on what she is trying to stick in our mouth. New words-"wow" and "ow" She is actually starting to try to repeat words a lot more. Too cute!

Stella is crawling everywhere! She is finding tiny little things to put in her mouth. I didn't know that the door stop caps came off. I also didn't know how many things are irresistable to a nine month old. She is obsessed with buttons-remote controls, dvd player, computer, etc. She is babbling a lot and says "dada" and "dol"(dog). She was heading toward the dvd player yesterday and I said "no" and she turned around and said "doh" and smiled. I guess that is "no." I am sure that won't be cute when she is older, but it is hilarious at this point in the game.
